The Book of Esther
Esther is in incredibly interesting book. It has all of the ingredients of a modern-day thriller: deception, intrigue, espionage, sex, and violence. But it is most known for what is lacking: the name of God. For this reason, some scholars have gone so far as to suggest that Esther should not be part of the Bible.
But, what we discover in a careful examination of the book, is that God is there. He is working behind the scenes to protect His people, and He does this in some very interesting ways.
